I disagree with that lol...

I'm running a hair over 3 seconds (3.15) 0-62mph with my DCT. First gear has no delay and shifts are REALLY hard. Like neck snapping each shift unless I'm WOT. That's actually not even with "true" launch control either. I have proper launch control installed now and I'm hoping to break the 3.0 second mark for 0-62mph next spring

It's all about tuning, particularly in the SST (EvoX/Ralliart/GTR world). Once tuning is available for the AT on this platform, it'll be very potent.

I'm not talking about shift times, my stock F1 trans shifts pretty quick and I do 3.x with it stock. What I meant is going into first is clumsy it's something hard to explain in words but if you work with DCT you should know. It's like your in natural and then you get into first suddenly. Happens with the PDK and the ferraris F1 a lot but not that concerning with the golfs Dsg.

Weight though is still an issue of dcts

I'm not a hater ofc DCT don't get me wrong, I love my Ferrari gearbox but it's sad to not have that interaction with your car

This AT mod pron must be censored from the Internets. My wallet is crying for mercy after each post showing upgrades for my AT.

Ditto that. I will be staying NA... And I have been fighting the modification bug, but seeing this stuff for the AT and also considering my plans for a final drive change has my savings account nervous about losing some weight. I think this AT is already awesome for a slushbox AT, very sophisticated "do-it-all" trans for lazy daily driving but also aggressive shifts in sport auto or manual mode. Couple what I already consider a great AT with the SSP mods coming and a 4.88 final drive with these AT gear ratios, my mouth is watering.

The BRZ/FRS have a factory stall of 2540 +/- 150 rpm
A stall would benefit both a turbo or N/A car.

YEEEEEEEEESSS!!!!!!!!

I know the FRS/BRZ automatic tranny market isn't as big as the gtr, m3, and porsche pdk system, BUT just want to thank you guys for developing these gorgeous parts that I will definitely purchase when released.

One question, do you think that this transmission will ever have the ability to be launched from a dig safely? Of course down the road when you and other companies (hopefully) put out parts for the automatic in the future?

I am curious if you have upgraded a valve body yet for quicker shifting and if so how has the trans controller dealt with it? Have you messed with modifying any pressures yet as well? Higher flow solenoids?

SSP typically manufacturers clutch plate/steel high-performance replacements for AT and DCT transmissions. This will reduce shift-slip in higher power AT applications.

There was an even a picture from SSP on this thread showing the plates they removed. I would imagine they would also be releasing upgraded plates for this application.

I'm sure more information will be released shortly.
