Now that you put it that way about the new rims and tires I agree. It's also pretty cool that this community is more performance oriented (not knocking the stance scene though). :happy0180:

So shift knob is my #1 under rated mod haha.

For a MT driver it is an underrated mod for sure.

I don't shift...

I don't see the point of a weighted shiftknob...

It basically makes shifting "easier" by carrying more kinetic energy and momentum and makes shifting a little smoother too. But really, it's like using training wheels on a bicycle. Real drivers don't need a weighted shift knob.

That's why people like HP. Foot down is easier to learn than handling and braking.

As for most under rated mod I'd say 100% it is tires. My old honda can take turns same speed on summer tires as my BRZ on all seasons.

After tires I would say general maintenance is under rated. How many people never check tire pressures, flush their brake fluid, get alignments?

I was on my way to getting osteoarthritis driving the frs, now I can rest my legs without the fear of limping after a good long drive!
Sorry, that is hideous. Function over form but damn I'd not stick that to my car lol

I didn't think it was possible to make shifting easier than it already is...
