Clutch slips a slight bit occasionally in 6th when I go to pass on the highway, does absolutely fine through a whole day at the roadcourse even while shifting into 5th for the longer straights. Don't think it'll last forever, but so far so good.
You know what, i get a slight stumble in 6th gear when passing sometimes. I didn't realize it could be the clutch slipping.

E85, stock blower pulley, delicious tune with the mk1+ fuel pressure sensor upgrade. Was at cruise 2 hours into a trip and sudden knock then blown engine. No previous signs of issues.

Complete with rod no 3 creating a nice viewing hole in the block between the ac compressor and throttle body?

Email them. They are pretty terrible about it. When I got mine supposedly they went out in a big batch and were all mailed wrong. Not sure how that happens, but as soon as I emailed them I got it quickly.

You should make a build thread on here. How are you liking the SC?

I haven't installed it yet. It's still sitting in my garage.

I've just been crazy busy. I purchased it sooner than anticipated to take advantage of their rebate.

That temptation would be too much for me. Hopefully you get time soon to do the install!

PSA for stock headers

Wanted to wait and see if this was the problem and now can confirm it is.

If you are running the stock headers with this kit check the state of your precat. I've been working with Zach at CSG on my tune. Everything was dialed in except for a very rich condition and stumble when leaving a stop in first gear. Only showed up under low flow conditions below 1400 rpm. Tried swapping the AFR sensor, made it a little better but didn't get rid of it. Zach eventually got me a map that worked but he had to do a custom map that takes the car out of closed loop in that area. I switched to a Tomei header over the weekend and all the issues are gone.

The image below is a boroscope pic of the precat. The cat material is failing and clogged in about the middle 20% and it changed the flow enough that the reported AFR was reading very rich and making the car stumble when the closed loop system overcompensated, sending the AFR to 16 or so. These precats aren't designed for the higher heat from this kit.
