that was pre-WORST-DESIGN-EVER, but the thread that really gave a lot of people worry about it, i'm still convinced he attempted to remove with a smashed on socket in the first place...

I love those things. I bust one out now and people look at me like WTF is that archaic thing.

Yamaha used to have a thing for holding their engine cases together with phillips head screws. A hand impact was the only thing that wouldn't strip them.

Right? "If you have to ask..." Won't cam out if the thrust line is down at a 45 degree angle.

There are many threads with pics of mangled screws. Maybe all it takes is to not be ham fisted about it. Either way, I'm glad that I was cautious.

What app do y’all use to listen to music? I’ve always just used the YouTube website for some reason, but I don’t mind spending a few bucks a month for a good music streaming app.

I haven't found any worth using often... But that may be lack of research and caring... Or the fact I often listen to classical, and care about the performer(s) as much as the piece.

If I just want noise I've used shoutcast (via squeezebox).

I hate the reduced frequency range and super lossy results from YouTube, but have used that some when on a research kick.

Word is the good stuff is quboz or tidal. No idea personally.

I think it depends on your taste in music (and music quality) to determine what works for you.

I'm perfectly happy with Amazon Music that comes as part of Prime (not the extended extra pay version). I also use the Sirius app on occasion but only because MomHawk has a subscription for her Mustang so it's available. In addition, my family has a library of over 5,000 legally purchased and ripped songs that go back decades. I have those on a 200GB SD card in each of our vehicles. In the end, our library and the occasional use of Amazon Music works for me.

My two sons that are more musically inclined than I am use a paid Spotify account.

MomHawk is considering trading your XM subscription for Spotify because it's more flexible.
