I was assigned to a P-3 crew in between westpac cruises. My torso harness went along with me so, when there weren't any cherry pickers available for the job, we improvised.

Thank you for covering this while I was in my self imposed exile.


Remembrance day this year was a bit rough since I learned that a buddy I served with in the UN Peace Keeping Force in Lebanon back in 78 passed away the Friday before from mesothelioma. The suspected cause was exposure to asbestos dust while on that deployment in 78. Now, he had totally different duties and worked more in the bombed out urban areas than I did but it still makes you wonder.
