I guess I have lived too long because I just cannot adapt to calling a $25K+ car "Cheap"! That is just like me not being able to stand the thought of $400+ a month car payments.

On topic: Have you driven it in deep snow yet? I am wondering how it will do with that low front bumper. My 350Z would plow snow and just stop. But then it would barely move on flat ground anyway.

The bumper is higher than some other cars I've had.. We haven't had a ridiculous dump as of yet but supposed to snow again tomorrow

Don't have a BRZ yet, but I don't even drive my Audi (which has quattro AWD) in the snow. Why? Well, lots of reasons. First, it came with 255/35/19 summer tires. Secondly, I'll probably keep the car forever or at least almost forever, so I'd like to keep it away from road salt. Third, and most importantly, I have a 4Runner that is an absolute beast in the snow. I pray every winter for gigantic snow storms just so I can rip through them in my 4Runner while my car sits in the nice, warm garage.

Plus, I'll make up for the mileage once the winter ends, so no worry about "wasting" unused warranty miles on the Audi.

I love seeing these cars actually be driven in the snow. Pretty refreshing. The ultimate drivers car shouldn't be kept in a garage all winter IMO

I do, yes. Haven't programmed the car yet, though it didn't come on this morning. Think it takes like 10+ miles for the car to realize they aren't there and flash the light. My commute is only like 7 miles.

Snow just means free drifting.

We get more mild winters down here so I have a set of Michelin Alpin sport snows on 16" Sparcos. I have a set of the Rally Armor mud flaps as well. They are completely brilliant. If you are thinking about them, do it. They provide amazing protection.

After installing my Rally Armor mud flaps yesterday, I realized that I need bigger exhaust tips/new exhaust now.
