It's interesting that on all other photos the calipers are not painted.

It's probably like the rear red calipers on the Supra.

lol good catch, figure whoever was touching up those press photos (which to me almost always look photoshopped) perhaps forgot to give the other photos red calipers

I'm not above shopping for a used engine once a few get creamed. I'd put my original engine on the shelf next to my original transmission.

So is the engines compression confirmed to now be 12.5:1?
Is the 13.5:1 figure we were first seeing a typo or is that a Japanese thing?

Totally Fugly pos vehicle.

Especially those ancient looking headlamps...C6 Corvette anyone.

Time will tell if I buy one of these or an ugly BRZ

Hyundai Santa Cruz looks fun. (made in Montgomery, Al)

Had a resv for new Bronco but gave up. Ford does not have their act together even now.
And Ford's initial quality is as always, in the dumper....and it never ends.

Still I feel most comfortable with MADE IN JAPAN for zero quality issues.

My 15 FRS has had ZERO issues, now with 70k miles.
Never used the warranty.
Best fukin car ever of over 60 vehicles in my lifetime.

Do I NEED a new vehicle, well NO...

I want it for the engine. It could be a lumpy turd and I'd still get it. But yes, the 2017 BRZ redesign remains the best design, but I disagree there are no good angles. The back is meh, but I like everything else, especially the front of the GR. The rear wheel arches arebreally nice.

Yeah, I'm not feeling it either. I like the facelifted first gen much better.

Does anyone have any examples of these colors?
Most of these colours showed up in those leaked shots.
Track bRED is the press car colour, Trueno blue must be that darker blue.
the rest are carryover. You can see examples of those colours on the first gens in the photo forums

Steel Silver (its not grey)
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80125

Halo White
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80124

Raven Black
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7342

Pavement Grey (my car, so not many pics yet. I feel like im the only one with this colour since it was new for 2020)
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=145421

Neptune Blue (dont know a thread of actual neptune, but this thread has a few pics of a neptune)

Its less subtle and less grown up, but not overly so.

Given what the car is I think its a step in the right direction - making the car look a little more like a dedicated sports car.
