Depending how far out, either system will be fine for you. There are always supporting modifications that need to be addressed when the changes in setup happens, and of course, we are always there to help you achieve your goals. Whenever you're ready, don't hesitate to contact us. @Rapiddan45 will be getting his C38 setup shortly and was something that came up just in time.

It will not be the carb tune since I have full exhaust. But hoping to have some real numbers here within 2 weeks that I can share.
Thanks for your patience. I'll forward you that tune now. LOL

What's the pulley size for the C30 kit, the C38 kit, and the HBP?

What's the maximum compressor RPM for the C38? And what is the maximum compressor RPM of the C38 kit while using the JRSC C38 kit's supplied pulley and running the engine at 7400 RPM?

Does the C38 kit effect the power curve vs the C30 kit?

Does the C38 kit use the same MAF housing as the C30 kit?

Why the drastic change in attitude? Before this CSG representatives have stated that the C38 would be too much for a stock engine. Now here is another kit that claims the C38 will be fine on 91 octane.

- 110mm diameter for both kits, 100mm for the current HBP
- 90,000 RPM maximum, 70,636 RPM at redline with 110mm pulley
- Same power curve in CARB trim.
- Yes, same MAF
- I think we can all agree that pushing 15+ psi of boost is too much for a stock engine. At 9 psi, the stock engine is fine, regardless of compressor size.

It took nearly 3 years of testing to get here with the C38.

Is the boost curve the same, or is the power curve adjusted through the tune? I find it really hard to believe that a larger compressor spinning at the same speed would result in the same boost curve.

It's not spinning at the same speed. The gear ratio of the c30-94 is a 9.49 multiplier, while the C38-81 is 7.50. The difference in compressor efficiency is small enough that it falls under the error range of most dynos.

I'm probably oversimplifying this, but basically theres no difference between the two kits until theres a pulley even smaller than the HBP?

I'm understanding it as, the bigger compressor will push more air, but due to the different gear ratios, will spin slower than the smaller compressor (while making the same boost). The benefit comes when an even smaller pulley is used to push the C38 to even higher RPMs, and this same smaller pulley would be unusable on the C30 because it would cause it to spin faster than it can handle.

Sure did! And gotta hand it to Jackson racing, their packaging is superb. Got a good portion done tonight, hoping to have everything finished in the next few days.
