If it's always sounded like that, either you didn't prime the supercharger correctly, or you were sold a bad supercharger.

Yeah, I posted it for reference, it’s not my video. I didn’t want to start my car again and take a video so as to mitigate further damage of the unit, so I used some other poor bloke’s vid

I had the same exact sound and it steadily got louder and louder overtime. Sent my supercharger in and it was covered under warranty.

It should always be between the min and max line on the dip stick. Remember the correct way to check it is to rev the car to 2500RPM and have someone check it, or hold it there for 15-20 seconds and get out of the car to check it.

The Rotrex Traction Fluid fills the reservoir as revs increase. If you check it at idle, it will always show low.

Is my supercharger dying?😥

my rotrex unit has been getting increasingly louder over time and now it sounds like this. Is this normal or is it approaching its fate? I might just be paranoid i hope thats the case. link to a video of my jrsc -

This is what mine was before it got sent in for warranty. Rotrex never said what the problem was and just sent me a replacement. Still going strong with 40k on it. Might want to contact JR or your dealer about it.
