The factory fuel rails and system makes it to gimmicky to install a fuel pressure sensor.
Agreed.

On another note, I have installed all kinds of FP on this car, and I currently run the FB WAlbro 485 and it's the best quality of all and the kit provides for a nice fit even though the pump is quite large.

This really sux because I just purchased a jeep wrangler for a daily and I don't want 2 project cars atm. Ideally I wanted to finish the jeep and then upgrade the brz more.

I'm really like two seconds from throwing my wallet at full blown for the Walbro 485 kit
i didnt read everything on here but i am having some fuel issues as well... if youve run e85 for sometime now you may want to stick your injectors on a flow bench and test them. i had a direct injector completely blocked.

I haven't had a chance to run e85 or anything at this point. I was saving for a real fuel system before making that switch. I do have my own home made fuel injector flow bench I made using an old fuel pump and regulator out of my saturn. I've had to test injectors in the past. I'll more than likely check this pigs to see if they are pissing or spraying.

I got the bad today. The guys at Fullblown next day shipped the fuel pump kit to me.

Full kit in the box

Basket Spacer to make up for the extra pump size

Sock, nothing else to say

Walbro 485, has the spacers installed and idiot poof

I ran out of day light and that damn jeep is in my garage, so i'm going to have to do this in the drive way hopefully after work tomorrow.

5 crank starting and A/R swinging problem is now resolved with the Walbro 485. The car starts on in 1 crank. Compared to the factory fuel pump or Fullblown 270 fuel pump, you know you have a Walbro 485 in your tank. Oh boy you can hear it prime. I'm so happy that issue is resolved. I have zero cons & the car now has it's balls back. Worth every penny!

Thank you Full Blown Motorsports!

Sounds Like I need to double check my pump. Just installed a DW 300C right before I made the switch to ecutek with flex-fuel. No issues until after the ecutek switch.

Did you figure your problem out? Was it the fuel pump?

Good read.

I havent been having the same exact issues but my fuel trims are well into the negatives, not sure if that's good.

Also, sometimes I start the car just fine but the RPM needle won't go all the way to 9000 RPM and bounce back to the actual read, it'll just go straight to it.

I definitely do plan on getting Walbro 485 tho. IS THIS PUMP JUST A DROP-IN?

Never did figure out. Fuel Trims were off all the way up until it chucked a rod through the block. Didn't find anything weird on tear down either.
