The stock pads will probably survive the weekend, but I would not want to leave that to chance. When @akuhei did NOLA the first time on his OEM pads, I gave him my OEM pads so he would have them just in case he needed them. I have seen cars kill a brand new set of pads in less than 2 sessions before. The OEM pads are not meant to see the kind of sustained temps you will see on track.

I still want to go ahead and get the track grade pads though so I can have a different set and not use them up with daily use.

Appreciate the input from everyone on what to do so far.
I did have a little fade on the stock pads..especially on the second day (which was dry). So imo...I would recommend an upgrade in pads and fluids just to be sure they are up to the task . The HP+ did well for me as I am still learning..so I am not as fast as I could be and therefore don't tax the brakes maybe as much as tut or someone more experienced. It was June when I ran on the HP+ pads..so I felt they held up well to the heat. I am sure that any of the pads listed will probably do the job..just might be lots of overkill where the money doesn't need to be spent yet. Also think..you will be at NOLA in January ..so it should be nice and cool..hopefully keeping heat issues to a minimum.

Edit: wanted to mention that on my first day, it was raining and wet, so I wasnt going as fast as I felt I could. I made it the whole weekend on stock pads, but if it had been dry for both days, that might not have been the case. Thats why I would recommend someone else to upgrade, at least a little, to something like the HP+, just to have the little safety net there.

Black BRZ in Pensacola I believe? Around 10 this morning
It turned off of Fairfield DR on to Davis HWY I believe. Not completely familiar with the area, I think that's what the signs said. I just have class over on that Pensacola campus for school

Could have been me. I was at that intersection around 10.

I've seen a Black BRZ at Cordova mall before along with another Red FRS at PSC with a huge Perrin sticker and then another FRS whose color I can't remember.

I've seen the red one, just going back today for a class. Maybe I'll see one again. I see a lot of Pensacola guys on the forum, just barely see any in person

Yeah we really need to get some "you've been spotted" business cards to direct people over here but I hope there's a good showing at the car meet so we can direct them to the forum and SE FB group.

Okay, seen another one. Black FR-S, looked lowered and some damn good looking wheels on it. You were going down around new warrington say about 10:30 I was in the white BRZ. If you're here, I need to find out how you did your brake light. Especially that flashing when you braked.

I know who it is. He works at the Toyota dealership. His lower light bar is aftermarket. Valinty I believe. It comes with the blink option. I also think he has been band from this site.

Yeah that'd be Brad. His decal is the Southeast 86 logo that Munki made for us. Driven Performance did his build and could tell you exactly which aftermarket tail light they used.
