Hey just a suggestion, on section B - C of the map, instead of taking Bankhead Hwy on the last part of it, a little further south is Airport Road. I've driven both frequently and Airport Road is the better of the two.

it was section b-d that was just too sketchy. we saw everything from deer, gravel, a few pot holes, and slick roads lined with lime. This was all while on roads that were 1 1/2 lanes wide.

If you used the section from the first map I did, you ran Bear Creek Road and yes, that is sketchy. Airport Road is nice and smooth.

The drive on Sunday would have been better had we brought a sheet with the route and marked the good parts and bad parts. For the most part the new route looks good we just need to test it one of these days. There were a couple iffy parts and a part of the north loop that you were slipping due to lime or something on the road, So much better to just skip it.

There are 3 options with a few differences.
Bankhead Hwy. The route you have coming off FM 5. Fairly straight with no real curves. Pretty much just a connecting road between FM 5 and IH20. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Farm...9!2d32.7439154 Center Point Rd. Very little traffic but also very narrow road with a couple good curves. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Farm...711442!1m0!3e0 Airport road. Some good curves, not as narrow as center point road, longer than the other two above, but more traffic. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Farm...711442!1m0!3e0

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Farm...711442!1m0!3e0 were you able to drive any other parts of it of the rest of the route? Im just trying to get the route down at least to the point where most of it is a 2 lane road with a dedicated center stripe and get away with the narrow roads with no center line while keeping ti as fun as possible

I'm probably heading down to San Antonio to do another sisters run. So depending on the day I may or may not be able to go.

Yes, its planned for Spring of 2015. We are getting closer to that time. I imagine once it warms up we will start looking at the route again and getting a plan going.

I think this route might be fun. It's about 100 miles or 2.5hrs.
