There is an OpenFlashTablet thread on here somewhere all about that noise. I think it has something to do with the Variable Valve Timing. From what I remember, the noise is faintly noticeable on the stock tune, but because of more aggressive VVT on the Stage 1 tune, the noise is more prominent.

Just an update. Turned out to be the tune. was Cam gear noise or something.

Very interesting to hear. How did you find that out?

This rattle has been happening to me for over a year. The sound comes from the driver side footwell. Do you have any idea if it's detrimental or not?

Unfortunately I have this rattle and the shifter rattle. But at least I know the shifter rattle is not anything to really worry about. It's just annoying

I still have shifter rattle. And My car was OFT flashed. Once i flashed to stage 2 The noise stopped happening, this was coming from the engine bay. was told it was the way the timing was on the tune.

I get the same rattle under the same conditions you mentioned. Seems to happen more when I have the AC on.
