Perhaps done as part of their big return to Formula 1 in 2015, Honda has just released this amazing film in which a series of sound engineers have recreated Ayrton Senna’s record-breaking Suzuka qualifying lap from 1989. Using real data from Senna’s lap and a series of speakers and LED lights lined around the track, the team of engineers have beautifully recreated the historic run in this rather touching piece of film.

I havent watched f1 since senna passed away. I remember I was watching the race when he died. Anyone seem the documentary they made about him?

I watched the documentary. I wish they had included more race footage, but it was pretty good and worth a watch (it's on Netflix). I found it very interesting to see all the politics that go into F1.

Seconded that it's rather good and it's on Netflix streaming.

It is biased towards sympathy for Senna against Prost but if you can get past that you won't be disappointed.
