I would not have installed it myself! That was a hell of a learning experience

Also: Local tuning.

Hindsight is always 20/20 but in my case I'm still glad I installed myself. I learned a hell of a lot and had some fun in the process. I hear you on the local tuning part...I spoke with and really wanted to go with someone an hour or so away that is really well respected. Once my kit came and it was time to start making moves he told me he wouldn't tune my car b/c of the MAF placement on my kit...fucking a. I'm pretty satisfied with the e-tune I'm on though for now. No knock now that I've gotten all the leaks figured out, drives well and civilized at low speeds, and makes enough power to keep a smile on my face.

After speaking to my tuner I would have went the turbo route instead of supercharger. Also, would have had it professionally installed

I want to build my motor but not sure if it's worth it. Goals are around 350 pump on FF, but I'd rather call it pump (93) to be safe. Time attack in the not-so-distant future

Would I do it all over again?

Truthfully, I could have just bought an STI or Golf R in the end.

But it was fun and I like my choice of supercharger.
