Well. I had a turbo rx8 before my sti. So this car kinda reminds me of that. A lit "easier" to drive. Just over all puts a bigger smile on my face. The sti was fast and stuff but not as play around as I'd like. And the looks of a brz.. zomg... it's just sexy

Iv had it for 2.5 weeks now. I don't see myself getting old of it. My only complain was over all power. Only cuz of owning an sti and turbo rx8. Just for sheer whoosh factor. So behold turbo kit haha

The car won't really be track driven or anything. It's just my weekend cruiser and late night fun. I'm sure some guys will bash that I put all the money into it for not track driving it and stuff. But in all honesty. I just like late night rips. Sitting in and drinking coffee. Just my time to get away from things

Yeah I think that's the biggest complaint among BRZ/FR-S owners is it's lack of power. I've had my BRZ since June 2012 and although I'm only at 5500Km, I still enjoy it every time I jump in and drive it. I think I'm one of those few people that just enjoys this car for it's low center of gravity and overall driving experience, which would explain why I have not jumped on FI as of yet.
I'm also one those guys that buys mods and they sit in their boxes for a year or two before I finally get around to installing them

It's a very enjoyable experience driving the car. I highly doubt I'll do coil overs or anything. Just bushings and stuff which is what I'm ordering today. I enjoy the feel or the car the way it is. A little bit tighter and via chase bracing and rear diff bracing just for the extra feel. FI isn't for everyone. My set up will only be 7-8 psi mainly due to out crap fuel but also making huge horsepower isn't what I want. But the 100 hp will give me zoom I'm use to. My sti was just shy of 350 hp in a 2004. And my rx8 was in around the same ballpark at about 320 so this will fall in line from what I like. I enjoy the car for what it is. But to hear nutty turbo noises is an extra thrill I love.

For guys into more the responsiveness of the car would probably more enjoy a smaller supercharger kit. (Around to 230-250 mark) because the over all acceleration experience won't be affected as much as a turbo kit. ( gotta love boost threshold)

Yea. A lot of guys run the avo kit. And it is a gorgeous kit. I'm just trying something different. Equal length headers doesn't bother me. I know it's not the "true" subaru sound but for the power it is more reliable. And I think it will sound just fine. I'm just hoping mine won't be to loud.

I would have preferred equal length actually, but whatever, it is what it is, plus it does sound great on my car.

A guy in BC has the AVO kit with the Tial exhaust like yours, quite load, but sounds amazing. I am sure yours will sound good too

Good choice on sticking with the stock rims, just get better rubber and you will be fine. Many people ran very powerful twins on 235's
