First off, I'm not a Subaru guy. Don't really care what they came off, just know they go on my brz. And, I can't figure out how to change the thread title.

Fronts: went on perfect, no adapters or cutting or anything.

Rears: need adapters and the wrx rotors won't work due to our ebrake system being huge in comparison.

They bite hard in comparison to stock, which may be attributed to the ebc red pads and ebc rotors. The loss in weight is well worth the money since these are much cheaper than the aftermarket bbk's. I also get a woody having "Subaru" brakes instead of some other brand, I think it just looks cooler.

The adapter part is correct...but you should be able to use your OEM rear rotor.

Yeah, they fit the stock rotors fine, I can't actually get the bracket to fit the caliper. It's like a 1/32 inch off and won't thread the bolts

This bracket should work; if it doesn't call Ken. I know that you need to modify something very slightly or at least you had to in early versions.

EDIT: Install PDF http://knsbrakes.com/RearBremboV2ALL.php

Did you not have to change anything with the fluid lines on the front? I know on the wrx the calipers sit on the back side if the rotor where ours sit on the front.

I've been looking into doing this upgrade for the front for awhile now but I'm waiting for a good deal to pop up for some used calipers.

He doesn't have to because the calipers are not differentially bored, so you can put the bleeder on top without issue.

Awesome, now to just find a good deal on a set somewhere. Time to head to crazy rays and see if they have any wrxs.

This is news and exciting! Can @Wonderbar slap a magnet on these brakes to confirm what @RallySport Direct is saying about these being aluminum.

I didn't know that the WRX version calipers are aluminum and was under the impression they were all cast steel.

And to clarify you can get the Black version with a flat Subaru sticker now like mine. The older JDM versions did have raised lettering.

I'm pretty sure the fronts are NOT aluminum; I thought only the 300ZX turbo calipers were aluminum. The rears ARE cast aluminum, I can confirm that. I also have confirmation beyond the diagrams I provided that the rears fit with a bracket and our OEM rotor.

Also, I'm looking to get the black version, but I'm not having luck. You got a P/N or are they still a JDM item? If they still a JDM item, got a JParts P/N?

Correct! No changes to lines, although, I highly recommend braided steel lines with these.

Hmmmmm? I didn't think that this would be a mod that you would do being so function over form minded. These brakes are really just a bling mod with our brakes being so efficient from the factory.

I got em from sgp - http://www.subarugenuineparts.com/pr...cb7e31499676cd

I'm with you on the 300Z brakes. I just tested my buddies 300z calipers on his 240 and they are aluminum. But I'd really like confirm on the fronts as a 2lb difference between steel and aluminum doesn't seem possible.
