At this point I am leaning towards SC for the simple fact it is my DD and I spend about 20 hours a week on the road commuting so want to keep the mileage reasonable. Not looking for a monster machine just a little more ummf. Had my old Talon TSI running at about 500 horse and to be honest it scared the crap outta me more then once when I got a little carried away on the trip to work.
I will certainly look to you two (and a couple of others) for some guidance as from my experience on here you seem to be more reasonable and realistic then some! The last thing I want is a 20 page dissertation on the benefits/drawbacks of every Turbo or supercharger ever made, which is exactly what I would get from many.

Besides you guys are more FUN!

If I had that kind of cash I would agree but also probably would not be driving an FRS. Part of the beauty of the car is what you get stock for the money.
And as I look at it I will let the company pay for any issues as long as I can.
That being said I put a huge number of miles on each year so will chew through the warranty in less then half the time.

Kevin you do that and I want a David type breakdown of that experiance pleeeze.

Makes so much sense.

Stock tires are not as bad as people say. I made it through the 1st winter in the 13 with them on but I used to drive my mustang on pirelli z summers all year long for 5 years (new tires every 6months) so that was way worse.

Our stocks are gas efficient and can be lots of fun when you want them to be.

What I don't recommend is driving this light ass car boosted over 300 at the wheels on summer tires in the winter. Lesson learned the expensive way.

If you want a bit of POWAH now, get a tune. It's good for a bit of fun, is easy to flash back to stock, and you can still use it when you go FI.
