Coilover Springs
Hey Everyone - looking at changing spring rates on my RCE T2. They came with 500# springs. Been looking for some 400# springs.
The only springs I found that are 400# and available in the 6.75inch length to match the original spring length is Eibachs. But, there are only 3 in stock from what I found I looked at Swift, and they are 7 inch length vs 6.75. Would this cause any issues? Or is there any other brands to look at / brands to run from? |

Hyperco is good, them and eibach are my 1-2 choice.
7" should be ok, you move the spring perch down a bit to compensate and all should be fine. |

You're prob gonna mess with the ride height anyway, and it's a coilover, so 1/4" spring difference is sort of a 'who cares.'
I have a pair of 2.25" 400# 7" (and also a pair of 8") hypercos I can sell you. |

I am not sure if the 2.25 will work, T2 use the 60mm springs I know its a small difference but the seats and stuff may not accept them. Guessing you mean only 2 by pair?

Call RCE. They're friendly guys, I'm sure they have a good idea regarding what springs you could use.

No 2.25" springs will not seat on a 60mm spring perch. If you lack the confidence to order the other poster is right, RCE will happily order a pair of springs for you.
