18x9.5 square on stock struts?
I was wondering if 9.5 would fit front on stock struts dropped by an inch?
+45offset or would I need a spacer? |

18 X 9.5 will work if it's at least a +38 offset, I wouldn't go any higher than that. I'd add a 10mm or more spacer to clear the stock struts with the size you're mentioning.

Well I doubt they will fit. I just installed 18x8.5 +48 enkei pf01. With the discount tire recommended 225/45 R18 had plenty of room, I didn't like the stretched look so I traded in those tires for conti DW's in 245/35 R18. I could barely get a thick piece of paper between the tire and the plate on the strut that the spring sits on.
I loved the look and the increased grip so I went home slowly and took the fronts off and beat the lower plate up and in about 5mm. Reinstalled and living life happy now. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk Last edited by Respect BRZ; 02-16-2016 at 01:30 PM. |

How about a +34 offset? Would that fit with stock suspension with some lowering springs?

If it's a 9.5" wide wheel + 34, yeah it'll fit. The lower the offset, the more it'll be pushed away from the suspension, toward the fender.

Thanks! it's getting closer and closer to the end of the year and my next mod was going to be wheels and a good set of tires. Hopefully my tax return is a good one

i'm actually probably gonna stay clear of spacers tbh, don't want to take chances to my wheel flying off

Agreed. On my car, I'm running 18 X 9.5 + 38 with 245/35 18s, and I have a ton of clearance to the fender. I'm not running camber bolts, I'm not sure if I could! 4mm less offset should be fine though.
