I love this car so much ... but
well..
GOTTA tell you am in love with this amazing piece of Art ! - I love how practical it is - How sexy her looks are ! - I love how STEADY she is on the road (the 50% Balance distribution) - RWD !!!!! [MAIN REASON] specially what i need is a Quick Responive Car , not Fast Car Am really amazed how you wrote 50 pages of what you hate in the car !!! And i have the money to buy it In my country the [Toyota GTS 86 "AT"] is 30,000$ approximately ''from SAR to USD'' The very best edition (only without sport kit) But also we have for the same Price (approximately)(All full Options) [Mustang v6][Camaro v6] + "4000$" [Genesis Coupe v6] "Exactly Same Price" [Honda Accord Coupe v6][Mazda Miata][... But My Beloved GTS 86 "to be Honest" 1- Lack more Power and torque [Practical Though][i don't need powerful car though] 2- Cheapy fakey Carbon Fiber interior 3- No Armrest [How DAMN Annoying this one is] 4- No Turbo , its a Con & Pro in the same time though !! I Know its lame Notices , But Com'n Toyota with 30,000 $ i should get at least an Armrest !! I love this Car really, and i don't DARE TO UNDERESTIMATE IT There's 80% Chance i will buy it , am just wondering Is it worth to KICK a Genisis Coupe 3.8 L in the Bumper "it has no Balls" Last edited by AbdullahZh; 06-06-2013 at 01:21 AM. |

I believe the Fr-s is the modern day 240sx, so if you're heavily into mods or cars, that's a big deal. The car doesn't need all that power. You're not going to race it every day. But you will enjoy driving it every day. If you want to make it faster, that's where upgrades come in. Intakes, exhaust, FI. The Fr-s/Brz cars aren't just cars, they are a journey. People are going to be talking about this car tomorrow and every day for the next ten or twenty years maybe. You won't get that with the genesis.

Reason why I bought mine was because it's a Sexy Beast, I grew up watching races to "escape" into another life so naturally the AE86 was part of it, lastly my Dad always loved his Toyota's and stood by them.
My theory is the same for Motorcycles. Sure I could get a 1000cc+ but the corners are where I have the most fun, so I own a 600cc. |

Abdullah, you can buy a Toyota armrest for your 86. You will need to drill into your centre console though but it seems to be pretty good quality.

The car actually has a 53/47 weight bias.. Made to keep the tracking true and the tail tossable..
You have to drive this car to make it feel fast.. It rewards you with precision feedback and nimble handling. The other cars you mentioned might be more powerful and faster.. But won't give you that pure sports car feel.. But they probably have armrests.. |

Probably it's my fault, but I still don't understand why no armrest is an issue for so many people.
