i really dont see the supra deriving from any of those concepts, unless toyota wants to go ina completely different direction

Exactly my thought. From what we know in the rumor mill, unless the Supra can put out supercar performance (and we saw the price on the LFA ) I'd go with the Vette.

They have a million gorgeous concepts, and the luxury car market seems to be pretty good these days (I've been seeing a ton of new Porsches and 6 figure MB and a million M3s and M6s around), they just need to actually build any of them with any new powertrain and release it -_- Not that hard.

the "supra" pics look like they are from a significantly older vehicle. the concept has been floating around for a while as well.

The Toyota GRMN Sports Hybrid: Concept II is several years old. It is based on the 2008 Toyota MR-S with the addition of a hybrid drive system. It was an exercise. It is not the new MR2.
