lol... thats exactly what happened! AHAHA I am never going to wash the car again. More details on that later...

And for the lack of updates... I'll update soon I have been tweaking a lot of stuff with ecutek and tinkering wayyyy too much. 600+ flashes in... running 20+PSI on 540cc injectors, I was about to bump it to 22-24PSi but had some transmission issues. Once I get that resolved I'll bump the boost a bit or pickup some real injectors and bump it more. I need to slap this thing down on the dyno and see what it is putting down on the higher boost level. That and I really really really need a proper exhaust. I am using a stock midpipe atm and the top end is really struggling.

Custom Carillo H Rods?
what was custom?

Thak you!
We ordered them with a slight modification to how the bearing fits so that we could use an entirely different bearing that isn't compatible with this engine. These were a custom ordered set.

Castrol GTX 10-40 during break in. The first warm up cycle was motul break on oil. And once this batch of Castrol is done (this is my second batch of it) I will be on motul 8100 5-40. Mind you we clearanced the engine to run a thicker oil your oem bearings might not have the clearence for a 40w I would stick with motul 0 20 if I was on a stock motor.

You know I kind of forgot about this thread... I'll see if I can find some pics and I'll try and update this evening...

In short I've torn the block down again, upgraded my cooling, swapped out for a JDL production turbo kit, moved the bov onto the Intrcooler (which you can see via the grill), upgraded my fuel system, testing a prototype AOS, broke another trans, broke DSS axles... Swapped the mounts & bushings from engine / trans and have spent far far too long tweaking shit. And the past few weeks I have been working with someone for some custom billet transmission components... With more fuel upgrades & a new rear end & aero to follow shortly after. And hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have a ducting system in my bumper to guide more air flow to the cooling components.

Oh and warped all four rotors (lots of hot spots!) by forgetting to turn vss off under higher boost levels... lol

So it will be a time attack car then?

Its more fun than having a fully built race car that you show off at car meets and only put gas in once a month.

I am saying that I don't want to compete in time attack events... If I get competitive I'll start worrying about points, and well... I'll get competitive and I want to enjoy this car. I'll get a full on track car later down the road for time attack =). I plan on driving it and enjoying the car... Its my daily (well actually my bicycle is my daily lol, i live in downtown Phoenix). And my car is not a hard parker... it gets driven and abused. I went through 2-3 sets of tires before my last oil change lol.
