Potential owner questionnaire

I haven't seen this thread done well in the past, so hopefully I don't get called out for re-posting a stale topic.

That said, I'm curious about a couple of pieces of information for the people here. Mostly I'm trying to decide which direction to go in regards to purchasing this car and thought this might help others as well as myself in that regard.

So without further ado I'd like to do a small Mock survey for the following tidbits.

Age:
Gender:
Current Car:
Current Preference (FRS/56/BRZ):
Ideal Price:
To High, I'm out Price:
Other Cars you are "Cross Shopping":

For me,

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Current Car: 2005 tC
Current Preference (FRS/86/BRZ): BRZ Limited
Ideal Price: $26k - $27.5
Too High, I'm out Price: If we hit $30k with TTL I'd have to look at other offerings.
Other Cars you are "Cross Shopping": Z4 coupe, S2000 and possibly 2012 WRX if the other options prove to be too hard to track down in MN...

If you have the time I'd love to see what other people have to say in these regards. Feel Free to add anything you feel relevant/would like to have answered as well.

Current Car: Toyota Camry
Current Preference (FRS/56/BRZ): BRZ Limited
Ideal Price: 27k or under
To High, I'm out Price: 30k
Other Cars you are "Cross Shopping": none, but i've owned a s2000 before. you could say that's the closest car to the BRZ that i've owned.

edit: just noticed you're also from MN. are you going to go to a specific subaru dealer or are you pretty indifferent?

To the OP, there's a typo in your "Current Preference" field: "56" should be "86" and "To High" should be "Too High."

Age:
28
Gender: M
Current Car: Suzuki SX4
Current Preference (FRS/86/BRZ): BRZ Limited
Ideal Price: 27k (before TTL)
Too High, I'm out Price: 28k (before TTL)
Other Cars you are "Cross Shopping": FR-S. For some reason I don't want the BRZ Premium knowing that the Limited exists. It's either get digital climate control (Limited) or get the best value (FR-S).

Ideal Price: 25k
To High, I'm out Price: 28k base
Other Cars you are "Cross Shopping": Toyota GT86 track version in Japan, build it while im based i think its 20k USD which is nice , other than that, no car will suffice, waiting too long and fell too in love with this car, it could come with square wheels for all i care

Much obliged, it has been corrected. I shall blame the whiskey, though I will not hold a grudge...

Ideal Price: 24.5k
To High, I'm out Price: 26k ( for premium) if limited is near Ill upgrade
Other Cars you are "Cross Shopping": FRS,Genesis Coupe,370z,GTI,Miata
These are more back up plans than cross shopping. I am how ever willing to push boundaries. But I don't like to settle, nor do I want to be at the very top with stuff I don't need pretty happy with the premium.

Age: 21, 22 soon.
Gender: I possess a penis.
Current Car: 2002 WRX.
Current Preference (FRS/56/BRZ):
Ideal Price: $23-25K.
To High, I'm out Price: >$28-30K OTD.
Other Cars you are "Cross Shopping": Nothing really, I don't need a new car right now. If it doesn't work out I'm just saving up for a next-gen WRX/STI.

To keep my itch satiated, I'll pick up a 500 class or smaller bike if I don't drive away in the BRZ.

Current Car: 2006 Subaru Legacy GT Spec. B
Current Preference (FRS/56/BRZ): BRZ Limited
Ideal Price: 26k
To High, I'm out Price: 29k
Other Cars you are "Cross Shopping": Not really "cross shopping" but if they limit demand to the point that it's impossible to get a car by the summer without crazy mark-up, I may jump ship and either get a GT-R or 2013 Shelby GT500 instead.

Cool

Age:38
Gender:M
Current Car:99 Corolla & RAV4 V-6
Current Preference (FRS/BRZ):BRZ Limited 6MT Blue
Ideal Price:26.5K+TTL
To High, I'm out Price:28.5K after that I question value/to what I get
Other Cars you are "Cross Shopping":370Z, 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T, G37 coupe, 335d (425lb ft of torque yummy)

At this point after what's been said the last few days about availability I'm a little concerned that price will not be the big issue.
