Thanks!! These aren't legit TRD pieces lol. I wasn't sure if I'd like the look or not, so I went with these reps off ebay. Now that I dig the look, I'll probably start saving for the real deal.

Ha It's just "low". My FRS was lower than the BRZ is. The ride is really comfortable. For being this low, though, I kinda wish the spring rates were a little firmer. But it's still a nice ride

This past weekend was something I'll remember for the rest of my life.

Living in Lake Charles, La, I'm a little detached from national caliber events. The closest I get is anything in Houston, Tx, which is 3 hours away. I decided to take a little weekend vacay to Atlanta for Southrnfresh 4 with @ShutterSpeed. Once I started looking at the date, I realized Import Alliance was the same weekend. Since I could make it "on the way", I started planning an epic road trip to attend both events.

Google maps told me it would be a round trip of about 2130 miles. I booked my hotels and recruited a passenger. A few days before the trip though, @ShutterSpeed had to back out due to work stuff.

"Fuck it. I'm still going"

We left at 6am on Friday and drove for 14 hours across 5 states. 12 hours of that was in the relentless rain. Finally we arrived at the hotel around 10pm. My car was beyond filthy when we went to clean it the next morning. Actually had to wipe it down twice because my rags were getting so dirty. Got it all cleaned and headed to Kentucky Speedway.

We got there to an amazing scene of thousands of cars in line for roll in.

Once we finally got in, I got pulled in to park on the show side, which made my whole trip up there worth while

There were soo many people and soo many cars!

We left around 2pm and headed back south to Atlanta. Got a little more rain, but not too bad. Made the hotel at about 9pm and found a local meet to hit up. Nice dudes in Atlanta from what we saw. The meet was small, but nice and chill.

The local guys told us about a Caffeine and Exotics meet Sunday morning, so we went to that. WAY too many pictures there, so I won't post them. A total blast though.

After that, we headed to Southrnfresh 4.

The weather was a concern for that day, and after a few sprinkles, it finally started to rain =/

After a good bit of rain, we decided to leave the meet and go explore Atlanta.

I grew up a really big Atlanta Braves fan, so we went to Turner Field to take some pics. I knew the old Fulton County Stadium was across the street and that it was now a parking lot. I didn't know that they had where the old field was layed out in bricks. Totally lived out a boyhood dream by running the bases in the parking lot lol.

We drove around taking more pics, but they weren't much to look at. We left for home the next morning and completed our road trip. Total distance ended up being 2180 miles from start to finish. It was an incredible trip that I'd do again in a heartbeat.

Hey how did you like those Privat wheels? I will at some point buy some works for mine but that'll take some saving up and those look pretty good, and are priced pretty well!

Also, how are the apexi coilovers? Pretty stiff?

Both cars are sweet man

I loved the Privat Kups. Super low pricing and looked damn good. The Apexi coilovers are actually spec'd with softer spring rates than say, BC's. I really enjoy the ride quality of them.

How is your front lip not broken? It looks like 2"-3" off the ground. Is it on bags or do you really DD with it that low?

No it's really that low, and I really drive it daily lol. Ironically though, it got cracked on the road trip by a sneaky tire in the road. Made it all the way back home and cracked in half the next morning..

I'm shopping new front lips now. Might as well change it up now that my hand is kinda forced.

Replaced the busted lip with the STi front lip. My STi gurney flap is in, just need to install it.

Car looks awesome! Where did you order the gurney flap from? I am still shopping around for one among other things... it seems like my list of stuff to buy keeps getting longer and longer...

Thanks,

Carlos
