What spring rates are you guys running? Still very unsure about adding a front swaybar...

I'm 60/70 (N/mm) front/rear. No autocross events on it yet though, so only backroads "testing"...

Agreed, the amount of stiffening off the shelf setups are doing to the front doesn't make sense to me either. About to commit to a setup that isn't that...

6k/7k rs-r sports i coilovers, 20 mm whiteline front bar. Front bar makes a huge difference. Highly recommend it

I have the stock 7k/6k Feal 441s... I would recommend going the other way around. (6k/7k)

So, even with stiffer springs you find a bigger front bar necessary? I find that interesting since you'd think the stiffer spring rate on the coilovers would negate the need for a bigger sway bar.

Based on how my car feels with 6k/7k (close enough) I can see the desire for a front bar.

It doesn't. It's just the nature of the mcstrut front suspension on the car. You could run some really high spring rates and lower the car but then you are probably causing other issues harder to fix. At least when you are talking autocross lots that aren't very smooth.

Well I shouldn't say stiffer springs and shocks do not help, they definitely make a big difference, but the swaybar will help quite a bit on its own.
These cars have been around for a few years and obviously have done well in STX, the recipe for that has included a bigger front bar. Rear bar is something some change and others do not depending on how they drive the car and how they like the feel of it. |

Has anyone here gone through the process of getting permission and an insurance policy naming the scca to be able to fly a drone at an event? I'm really curious what an insurance policy like that would cost. Think the rule book says $10 million?
