With all that said, if you even remotely plan on tracking the car, I wouldn't recommend the StopTechs. The heat resistance is just not there compared to a real track pad or a nice hybrid pad like the Project Mu HC+800s. The Project Mus can handle a track day depending upon your track abilities. I did daily the the PMUs as well, but they have a tendency to squeak compared to the StopTechs.

It all comes down to your application. Daily only though I'd recommend the StopTechs.

Bedding is very important when it comes to pads. My ns400 do not make any noise at all. Braking power is a definite improvement over stock. They don't stop the car on a dime, but I never feel like I have to come close to pressing the pedal to the floor just to slow down in normal driving situations.

As far as wear, idk, I've had them on for about a month now. And as far as temps I'm not 100% sure.

We spent a whole weekend in the mountains, and did a decent amount of braking and the brakes held up good, never any brake fade or anything.

I do wish the ns400 had a bit more braking power, but I think that's only because I was expecting them to be better than what I thought they be. Overall, fantastic pads for what I paid

I also have Stoptech street pads on my car, great pad for DD and auto-x and the occasional track day.

I just keep the OEMs on during the winter... but that's just me. Once we actually get some cold weather, might as well use the half decent pads that were made for that operating temp at least.
