Thanks for your input! Just curious--Why not CST?

You can get the Solo rulebook via google and see what each class allows. PS. Its CSP not CST.

Here's the relevant Street Prepared entry that says those aren't legal. You're in violation of two separate parts, more metal than stock, and change in bushing type.

SM (Street Modified) is the national class the SPL LCAs put you into...CST (California Street Touring) is a local class that allows you to run spherical bearings.
If you participate in any national level events, you'll need to read the rules, but you're definitely not STX with the SPL LCAs, which are an SM part.

I have a question for those running aggressive alignments, like -3.25 camber and .2 toe out.
Do you keep those settings while daily driving, or mark the locations on your camber plates and turnbuckles then change at an event and change back before you drive home? Seems some of the alignment settings in this thread would wipe out a tire within a month. |

I'd leave it, just because of how inaccurate it can be with just sliding it even if you mark it.

So, I can't decide on a header...
I would ask over in the Engine section, but I figured I would ask here cause this is where it actually matters. I'm going to pick up an OFT for the tune, but I just can't decide on a header for STX. Suggestions? |

I decided on the P&L or JDL, whichever I can find used for a good price...still looking though... Header is a lot of personal preference. They make noise. And with this car you have the distinct choice of being able to choose the smooth rasp of the EL or the lumpy Boxer Rumble of the UEL. I know there's a lot of threads out there about which yields more power, but it also seems you can get just as much power out of either one with the correct tuning. For STX you gotta have a cat, but it's your choice if you want it in the header or in the front pipe.

I've done multiple headers before on my N/A Imprezas so I'm familiar with the noise, mostly concerned about power delivery and bang for the buck and curious what other STX folks went with.
