Fuel pump TSB

I went into my local Toyota dealer and asked them to change out my fuel pump and said that they don't see it on their website. So whats the deal here?

Had mine changed 4 times back in 2013. Current pump is alright most of the time but chirped like a son of a b*tch when it was first put in. Basically there is no fix and you have to live with it at this point

Yup. Especially since no previous TSB has fixed them, what's the point in having your car in the shop when you could be driving it.

TSBs are only instructions for the tech in how to do the work anyway. Contrary to what so many think they are in no way a recall, statement of a problem nor a guarantee that they will actually do the work.

FRS is life.

FRS has crickets.

Crickets are life.

Give up on what? I can make them come and go by will with just using different gas when it is hot out. Nothing to give up on. There will never be a recall. It isn't a safety issue and nothing is broke.

Let me complicate things some more.. Crickets is part of FRS/BRZ/86. FRS/BRZ/86 is part of life. Therefore, without crickets there's no FRS/BRZ/86. If FRS/BRZ/86 is part of your life, there will be crickets. So deal with crickets because it's part of life.
