That would probably be pretty obvious with the belt squealing.

I'm eager to see this on a 70mm pulley with E85. Or the mythical 69mm pulley. Seriously, I will have a 69mm pulley.

My hope is that the car can run on stock injectors and pump with a 69mm pulley and e85. Or I'd like to know what the stock pump and injectors will run out on E85.

According to Bill (Delicious), he's made well over 300 WHP using stock injectors on E85.

69mm pulley and E85 will require more than stock injectors.

I keep hearing different things from different people on what the injectors can handle. I don't know what the whole story is.

My friend John, who helped me install the sc, works at Lexus. He hooked one of their diagnostic tools to the car while I drove around, and it showed about 98% for the injectors, and close to max for the pump. He's here on the site, I can have him chime in.

I'm thinking that expert tuning can make it work with the current injectors. You can run them at 100% for a short amount of time or start firing them earlier. When I get the Tactrix cable, I will start seriously logging the car's actual stock behavior. Does the stock map fire the port injector when the valve is closed? Things like that. Fuel sprayed onto a hot valve will vaporize while cooling and cleaning the valve. That's one of the reasons I prefer port and direct injection to just direct injection. Don't wanna seafoam like on a BMW 335i.

Maybe Vishnu will chime in on this?

Wrxgoose brought his frs by my shop after we installed the super charger and he had it tuned a few times. It still had the stock port injectors and fuel pump. I used the techstream, Toyota's factory scan tool, to look at the engine perameters and the injectors were running at 100% duty cycle at wide open throttle and the pump was at 90%. I haven't looked at the numbers after the new injectors were installed.

He is obviously not leaning on the direct injectors if you are at 100% port injection already. Bill uses the DI much more and support more hp without swapping in new ports
