Painful to lose out on bump travel

But yeah, I've noticed these cars are very, very sensitive to ride height. Over simplifying for making small balance changes but front for entry characteristics, rear for exit.
If you get the front too low it'll turn in stupid fast but then push mid corner.

I am not a specialist, but this talk about ride height now has me understanding why the TRD coilovers they had (the yellow ones) never really dropped ride height that much. They always just seemed to be way too tall...

I have Xidas which have a pretty short stack height in comparison to a lot of other setups. When I was messing with geometry last year it seemed like a lot of people have to have very, very little bump travel given what my travel numbers, wheel position at the bump stop, and ride height look like.

I've also noticed there are people that run a big rear bar or big spring rate stagger with the car low and there are people that have a more square setup with a stiffer front bar and soft rear bar.

I run Shaftworks and Jon Lugod said set them so the pinch welds are 5.5" of the ground. That's definitely higher than they were when I had Feals. The car works great like that though.

I run my Shaftworks with only a 20mm drop. I would be curious now about the pinch weld measurement.

My experience mirrors that of yours in terms of feel. I love how it soaks up the bumps on the road. Nothing seems to phase them

Definitely pull the measurements if you don't mind. I'm curious now too.

Yeah, the car rides great on the track. It just feels planted without feeling like I'm in a shopping cart on pavement.
