I’ll be at the club trials next week also, but only Saturday. Sam, if you’re still going to the ER banquet tomorrow night, please grab my trophy and I’ll get it from you next Saturday, along with those Hawk brake pads. I got my crash bolts installed today along with a performance alignment at Texas Track Works. Going to hold off on moving into the Spec class for now, but that will most likely be the next major spend, later this year or early next. She’s ready for the new season now, so time to get racing!

I'll bring all that stuff to the Club Trials. The Spec Class just announced their spec tire, which will be cheaper than RE71's but not as fast.

SCCA (http://www.texasscca.org/solo/) opened up their 2018 annual registration: $325 for 9 events for members.

You guys missed an amazing day on Sunday, the weather and track conditions were excellent. Brandon came out and watched me get frustrated by an M3 in the 4th session.

I set a new personal best of 1:24.7 on the 1.7CCW (starts at 3:53).

NTAXS annual registration opened today, $330 for 7 events. Their events fill up quick, so if you plan on racing with them this season, now's a good time to lock it in.

Actually, this year they are allowing non-members for an additional fee ($15) and after 3 races you can apply for a free membership.

I'm thinking about signing up for this event, being that it's a Sunday and at Lone Star Park. Not sure if I want to use the new tires or use last seasons.

Up to you, but I don't usually like to waste my best tires with the BMW club.
