Most of those restaurants are chains that have a location closer to 80, Arden mall to be specific, no reason to go up to Roseville except that mall is a little classier.

I mean really. The only place that would have us in Portland was the crack whorehouse.

The area Finch mentioned earlier has a bunch of other food places as well, other than Jacks. We use it as a meeting spot because there's plenty of parking but there's also a bit of variety. If only the Bonchon would open up though >.<

Lucille's is fucking amazing tho... would drive out to Roseville 10/10.

I'll drive to Roseville for Lucille's. Never had it but heard it's amazing.

Lola's Kitchen in Alameda also gets a vote from me as I have been wanting to try it too.

I thought you guys were heading back to Reno that night via 80 East anyway?

Just a word of caution, those places are on Park St. which is a main drag and gets crazy crowded during lunch. Not ideal for an impromptu car meet. Webster st is closer to the Hornet and is a little less busy might not be as bad parking-wise.

I think when @Tcoat said wrong directions its cuz people were mentioning Berkeley and north East Bay. They are Staying up near Santa Rosa iirc. 80 is definitely on the way back to Reno

Wait, are we doing lunch in Alameda now? Or dinner? Cuz I could only make dinner (granted I'm sure most of these spots get just as crowded for dinner)

Staying in San Anselmo but if we have to head back east a bit to get a good meeting place then that is fine.

Want to do lunch on Monday someplace in the North Bay area since we will be doing the O'Brian tour that afternoon. Then dinner somplace not to far away.
Alameda lunch is on Tuesday then head to Sacramento and have dinner there on the way back to Reno. Looks like the Roseville place is dinner for Tuesday!

I'm hoping lunch is somewhere near the hornet. The hornet doesn't open till 10, so I expect it will be a later lunch.

Lola's Chicken which has been recommended is 3 miles away. Thought we could have lunch then do the tour.
