I would love to see an intercooled rotrex option, but I think honestly a turbo setup will be easier to r&d, plus they have all the experience of subi on their side
a modified version of this design:

because the engine sits so low, there may be enough room to fit a SC

I honestly can't tell what the rear underbody spoiler does, I can't see anything in that picture. That rear top spoiler looks good though, not something I would buy but looks good.

Huh thanks for the info... I'll share this to the informer.

I love the idea of SC on boxer engine... but spec wise TC is better

That supercharger has a built in intercooler, you can see the two water inlets in the top.

Traditionally TRD has ALWAYS shunned Turbo kits, I cannot remember the last time TRD released a turbo kit. If TRD releases any type of FI for this engine it will most likely be a supercharger with an intercooler of some sort. Whether they go with a centrifugal type SC with a separate intercooler like they released for the Scion tC or a lobe type SC with integrated inter-cooling in one unit like they did for my Toyota Tacoma, solely depends on what works best for the car and what they can fit in the engine bay.

I will be highly supprised if TRD even goes near a Turbocharger and if they do it will most likely be developed heavily by Subaru and just badged as TRD IMO.

please do! for a reliable, low boost power enhancer, what is better than a TRD supercharger? unless you go big on boost, there is little advantage for a turbo over a modern SC set up...

very nice, but I like the Modellista front lip better. I hope it will come with this front headlight. I think the FRS front bumper and headlight is much nicer then BRZ.

I'm putting my money on a turbo. Any of you guys remember this?
Yeah, thats right, it had a 2.0 turbo boxer, compliments of this supposed "G Sports" division from Toyota. I'd think its safe to say there IS a turbo for this thing in the hands of Toyota already. And if they DO like they said they were gonna DO, we should see a turbo.
