You're missing out! The fear of being splatted all over the road by a driver too busy checking Facebook to check their mirrors is a powerful adrenaline rush.

Yup. Also I sometimes get confused and start shopping for 17x9 RPF1s to put on the WRX.

I can do without that rush at this point in my life thank you.
The whole thing is that I had a home made "dune buggy" at 10 and my first car at 13 so when many were at the age where they are playing with dirt bikes I was tooling around on 4 wheels. Just never felt an interest of riding a bike.

For me, at my age, I put motorcycle riding right up there with cleaning the roof - I have no business doing either.

In fact, a couple years ago when I got my drivers license renewed, the lady ask me if I wanted to keep my motorcycle rider. I said no (in hopes that would prevent me from being tempted).

What made you decide not to get one? Fear of being run over by a distracted driver?
That, and needing riding gear, and more things to maintain, and I'll probably kill myself if a distracted driver doesn't get to me first...

Also, my commute would be longer because there's no way in hell I'd ride a motorcycle on the interstate. Also gravel and frost heaves, and potholes are more problematic...

Do it before you become a dad.
