Why would it not be compatible with your 4000NEX? I plan on installing one with my 8000NEX and if it works with that, it should work with your 4000NEX. You just need to get switched 12V+, ground, and plug the RCA into the back of the 4000NEX.

That is a great deal, for a great little camera. The camera is not overly finicky as it will run on as little as 6 volts (supplied from factory head unit) or 12 volts as tapped from the reverse lights. You should be able to use it with that head unit though. Just a FYI. Otherwise a free bump.

This will absolutely work with a 4000nex FYI.
I am an authorized dealer of pioneer and Rydeen. Done that combo many times. Works with the 8000 and any other pioneer radios with bu cam capability as well. If you need assistance with getting it working just pm me.
