They did place an order for the new ECM which will have the update when it comes in...
Did you have a tune on it?

Nope. They were saying that it might have been defective from the getgo.

Update: my subie is still idle dipping to around 550rpm. Vibration is noticable in the cabin.

Do you have a CEL. What VIN range?? Maybe you need the new ECU.

Currently at the dealership awaiting the fix. Been here for an hour for the recall and GPS fix. Will update when done.

Got the fix done and they ordered my bracket/sd card. The car feels a little smoother right now but who knows after 100 miles. The idle seems to jump less but alas I'll have to wait to see where it settles at after the 100 miles.

After this ecu recall my idle can't stay still to save its life. 550 to 700 bouncing around all the time.

I'm starting to think that the owners that have noticed a change after the flash may just be experiencing a placebo effect. I'm at the dealership now waiting for my car to be serviced and they're reflashing just about every person's car in here. And no, the lot isn't full of BRZs, lol.

The ECU recalibration/reprogram/recall is for all Subarus registered in recall states, IIRC.

For all Toyotas registered in those states or just the FR-S? Smell's getting fishier...
