OEM Exhaust on 2015/2016 FR-S

I saw this cool new exhaust on two FR-S at the 2015 San Diego Auto Show. Can anyone who has this report on the sound and also if anyone knows if this is a catback exhaust that uses stock mid-pipe and not like the prev TRD Exhaust (D tip) that changed mid-pipe. Anyone know the part number?... or is this just an exhaust tip change?

Just sent you a PM.

I should have Googled first... part number for the tips is su003-05273 and is selling for $62.00 at one site. Not sure if it is each or the pair.

If it's 62 each u should get Jdm one. They are longer and look much better.

It's just a new exhaust tip. Nothing else is changed.

They were originally like 107 dollars each, now they're only 63 roughly.

If you don't mind that they don't stick out of the rear bumper like the JDM ones... I would suggest this.

The JDM ones would run you slightly over 150 dollars.

Anyone know if this exhaust tip, part #su003-05273, will fit the 2013 FR-S OEM exhaust pipe? Does it attach with one bolt like the 2013 OEM exhaust tips?

If you're patient and don't mind checking once in a while, you can grab a set for super cheap on Ebay. I got my used JDM tips shipped for around 30 bucks.

Thanks for the tip. I have a pair of DC Sports Ex-1010 tips I purchased from Advance Auto for $30. with a coupon. They are 9" long, and like the JDMs, stick out a bit from the bumper. Correct me if I'm wrong but the JDMs are 8" long. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/d...ts+exhaust+tip

Best price I could find for new JDM tips was from eBay $148.50 shipped: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Genui...931bd8&vxp=mtr Japanparts website is down. https://www.japanparts.com/

I'm looking for some tips that don't stick out beyond the bumper. Yeah, there's the Perrins but I don't want to spend $200.+ for exhaust tips.

I found the SU003-05273 tips here for $62.69 each + $16 shipping for 2 to TN but no dimensions. http://toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.c...ota/su00305273 I emailed them for more info.

So back to my original questions. Will the SU003-05273 tip fit the 2013 FR-S OEM exhaust pipe? Does it attach with one bolt like the 2013 OEM exhaust tips?

You can buy them separately over here in the UK, might be easier as they're standard tips for us.

Would someone here that has a 2015 please check the dimensions of their tailpipe tips, length, outside diameter, and diameter of your exhaust pipe.

Checked with my dealer. Should just screw on in the original location. Screw is at bottom rear, it's just a slip-over tip.

Thanks for checking. I can see from the gallery pic on Scion's site the screw hole under the tail pipe tip. http://www.scion.com/cars/FR-S2015/g...ge=dualExhaust

Still doesn't answer my question whether the 2015 SU003-05273 tips will fit over the 2013 2 1/8" diameter tail pipes.

The Scion dealer in Knoxville has a few 2015s in stock. I guess I'll have to check them out unless someone here that has a 2015 will measure their tail pipe diameter and post it.
