Another direct injection thread! Yay!

Hello my fellow 86 brothers and sisters, i hate to do it to you but i bring you another direct injector thread... so i have a greddy turbo kit and I have had it on for a little over 15k miles. No problems at all!! But recently i started having bogging and hesitation around 3k rpm and it stutters and it isnt really happy. Anything above 3k rpm it is just fine. So i decided to pull out the direct injectors but now i feel i have wasted my time! Here are some pictures of what they look like and i just dont know if its bad or good. They all look pretty good to me except the passenger side aft injector. (Should be first picture) anything knowledge or advice would be greatly appreciated thank you!

Are any of the teflon seals cracked? Any deformation? Now that you have them out, maybe you should get them cleaned and flow tested on a bench.

No, none of them are cracked or split. I can see if there is a flow tester near me! Thank you!

Besides the stutter at 3K, was there anything else that pointed you to direct injectors? Seems like quite a leap.

Well when i was getting a tune from a remote tuner he said i was having knock at lower rpms and anything above 3k he said was fine. He then told me it was signs of direct injection failure. I replaced all coils and my spark plugs were fairly new.

Update: I had the injectors flow tested and one of them was flowing 10% less than all the other ones. So i guess its time to buy a new injector!

Do yourself a favor and replace the entire set. I had the same brown scorch marks on my Direct Injector.
