Manual, w/trd exhaust 28k without 26500.

I then started to wonder about the BRZ which 2017 model would you buy and why?
That's a few thousand more than my 17 BRZ, for reference.

BRZ "limited" has nice red stitching throughout, push button start / touch open/lock, dual zone climate control with nice dials/buttons, quality Alcatara seats and nice TFT MID. The North American 86 is a notch lower in interior IMO and does remind me of cars from the 90's. Also the North American 86 has blank button/filler plates on the steering wheel due to lack of TFT MID.

Exterior wise - all depends which front bumper looks better to you (make sure you picture it with plates on for your state as that changes the look of the front), which front-lamp LED shape you prefer and the slight variation in side fin/vent and the 86 badge. The 86 front lamp does look nice but for me BRZ is what I went with due to the nicer interior/amentity/MID, and I hated the way the blanks look on the steering wheel.

The performance package is a good value - so that's another consideration.

I bought my 2015 limited BRZ for $27k before taxes and all that. IMO, it sounds like a good deal.

And you, do YOU live in the USA? For all we know you could be from australia (and then your price is a really good deal, lol).
If you don't want to say where you live, stop wasting everybody's time.

You should really just quit while you're ahead and give us more contextual information to help you out. The past two pages of posts aren't helpful to you or anybody else at this point.

We can probably help a little but you need to be able to give us more info.

Like if you're in a more populated area like the SF Bay Area then it'll probably be harder to negotiate for a car in stock over one that comes in via an order you make. In that kind of region price will probably be somewhere between invoice and MSRP or even higher.

$27,500 for limited 2017 BRZ with performance package is a great deal. You would be be paying below invoice. And there are no obvious incentives running for these cars from Subaru.

I paid $1100 below MSRP in New York City.

TBH when I looked at truecar and similar sites a couple months ago I think 28k or so was considered the average and maybe 28.5k was MSRP but that was without the PP.

But again that still depends on your area.

Seeing as you clearly don't know much about this car my advice would be to shop for something different. Do your research in an open minded way, and don't be so quick to fight the advice you are getting, remember you joined this forum and asked the question. At the end of the day make sure you buy the right car for you and that no matter what you pay compared to others you made a knowledgable purchase and feel you received value and have fun every time you start it up.

If you're not going to modify it, then the PP or a limited series is a cool choice. But if you are just going to replace the things that make it a PP and you're going to modify an already limited series, it doesn't make a lot of sense. For modding get base, otherwise get one of the higher end models.
