I'll rig up the go pro in the car sometime this weekend if time permits, and get actual videos with car control. I'm not 1/4mi driver by any means, but it'll give you a general idea.

@Edelbrock LLC Quick question on differences in the kit:

Looking at Edelbrock's site last night I noticed the kit is listed as -
"2012-15 Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toyota GT86"

However, in red all caps shortly below that is -
"CALL FOR AVAILABILITY ON 2015 MODELS."

This leads me to believe there is a difference in what is packaged with the kit. So my question is, what changed for the '15 MY? The 9/25/15 Rev. of the install manual doesn't note any differences and there is no indication on any other vendor site that there is a difference in the P/N#:1556 kit when it is ordered.

Thanks in advance!

The 2015 ECU is different, but at this point in time, the tune is now universal.

Edelbrock can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only difference is the ECU tuning. Component-wise, everything else is the same.

You can always give them a call. Their tech service line has been very helpful.

Thanks Mike!

I suspected there was a difference in the ECU as the torque dip was never as perceptible as it was in '13-'14 cars I've driven.

How long before official CARB? Like an actual EO number? Will stickers be sent out to customers at that point in time?

Got my kit installed at CSG on Monday. Thanks to @CSG David and @CSG Mike for the info and guidance throughout the process.
My impression/observation of the installation is similar to that of @djdnz for the most part. Lots of steps, but it could definitely go faster with two people who are familiar with the install, with one prepping the parts while the other installs, or working on a different part of the install (intercooler vs. supercharger/wire harness etc) in parallel.

I'm a pretty conservative fellow (being an engineer) and this definitely wasn't an impulse buy for me. I don't think I'd have gone boosted at this time if not for these factors: 1) the Edelbrock name is well established 2) their warranty 3) I took the tour of the factory with my fellow forum members here - thanks to neal @The Racers Line for arranging it 4) I live 5 miles from Edelbrock 5) I've grown to trust the information that CSG provides on this forum 6) it's going to be CARB approved. These factors combined made me much more comfortable about my purchase than I would have been with any other product currently offered.

Since this is my daily driver (and only car); reliability and little-to-no maintenance is a requirement for me. This had to be a relatively low-risk mod. The fact that I don't put a lot of miles on my car helps. I've had it for almost 3 years and only just passed 7300 miles; and have not had any mechanical issues yet. I don't track or autocross it; just the occasional canyon run.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, power delivery is smooth and 'similar' to stock, but just lots more of it. It's more linear than a turbo but still I feel a big push when the revs hit the power band. Probably because I'm still not used to it, and it's not a familiar feeling yet. It's been only a few days.

Sound/feel on startup is slightly different - the faint water pump whirring and the added pulley of the supercharger can be heard and felt. It sounds and feels like a bit more is involved now. Other than that, it's not much different from stock at idle (to me).
@djdnz described the faint whine very well. It comes and goes during 'normal' driving in traffic and gets slightly louder when you step on the gas. It could almost be mistaken for road noise when you drive on a road with different grooves that make your tires whine; only much quieter. When you open it up, the previously silent intake wakes up with a subtle 'whoosh'. The supercharger's presence is very unobtrusive.

It's turned a 'quick/zippy' car into a 'fast' car. Not a super fast exotic, but I wouldn't refer to this car as 'slow' or 'underpowered' any more. For me, it feels just about right, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase so far.

Very well put (I'm an engineer as well, but that doesn't say much...). I think a lot of us came out impressed after that facility tour
