I checked around the block plate on my car with a bright flashlight and rag and I’m not seeing any oil leaking, so I guess it’s fine?! I thought I saw a couple drops of oil in my garage but it might have been some muddy water. It rained here on Saturday. I’m going to keep an eye (maybe both eyes) on it though. I can see how oil could drip right on the exhaust.

Never even knew this was a thing - October 2013 build here and never had so much as a drop of oil leaking anywhere.

It doesn’t seem to be that widespread of a problem, but it’s worth to check once in a while. You will see how easily oil could drip on the exhaust. The good thing is it’s usually a very slow leak, so it’s easy to catch in time.
