Well I'm in Knoxville for the weekend so I decided to go check out Tail of The Dragon and holy shit is that a badass road!!! Anyone who may get a chance to drive that should take advantage of it. The car felt awesome!! I did most of the road in 2nd gear keeping it between 4-6 rpms and stayed between 40-60 mph. Hit 80 on 2 occasions, which is a lil scary, and some corners were as low as 25 mph. It was sprinkling out too so it made it a lil more intense with traction and stability off but I just didn't floor it around really tight corners. Well .... I did a few times to purposely get sideways but for the most part I wasn't flooring it constantly. It was a great drive though. I got to follow a bike coming back down and trying to keep up with him was a challenge. To my surprise, I would actually catch up through the tight corners and s curves then he would get me through any kinda straight away. It was so fun though

But I think u are overlooking the important things here. A good mechanic is a good mechanic. A good tuner is a good tuner. All platforms are different but building engines and tuning cars are all the same. If you have never changed the rims on a Ferrari, you think you could figure it out? If you have never driven that same Ferrari, you think you could crank it and drive away? Idk what you're answer to that is but if you have changed a tire before then yes. If you have driven a manual car before then yes. The big picture is you choose a shop by their reputation for being able to build and tune cars however you want. Whether it's the first specific car or a car they have done thousands of, a good mechanic can work on and build anything and a good tuner can tune it. Call them and anyone else you want to and talk to someone about their shop. Research online for their reputation. If you don't trust their work then don't go there. It is all about how comfortable you feel but don't chose a shop just because they have worked on 1 frs before. * |

Question: who would you trust near Collierville to work on your speakers/headunit/etc?
I was thinking of upgrading speakers and getting a backup camera, but would prefer to drop the car off near where I work. I guess before I go FI, I should least fix the rattle from the front speakers and the lack of visibility backing up. |

Thanks, sounds nice too. Will sound better when my headers come in.
Quad tip came from Carson Toyota, but can be ordered several places, it's just the JDM TRD muffler. Tips won't clear the stock pipe openings, you have to cut the stock bumper and put the TRD garnish or TRD rear bumper lip on to make them work. |
