FYI, torque these to 30-35 ft lbs. Don't go by stock numbers. I'm about to retorque mine this weekend to correct my slight ticking noise I hear on cold start. It's very minor if anything because I don't smell anything, but the aftermarket ones. I torqued mine to 22 ft lbs which is definitely not enough even by the feel test.

I'm picking up some crowfoot wrenches (mentioned in the JDL header thread) from Sears after work today to get to the runners easier. Otherwise you will want deep sockets and knuckle joints on a ratchet with an extension.

Enjoy the UEL rumble my friend. It's quite addicting.

I've got a couple great helmets for sale on CL; since you're an 86 brethern I'd cut you a deal!

Hah hah good luck! I got a refund when I was expecting a huge bill... but this will be replenishing accounts emptied from mods in Dec and Jan. And when you are married mods cost you double!!

My wife said due to my mods she was entitled to new boots. I said "sure no problem" not realizing freaking boots would cost $400! WTF my awesome JPM Coachworks leather items didn't cost as much so what makes cowboy boots so expensive!!

Oh yes, not married yet so that expense is looming... But yea, just wanting some small things and hoping a referral at work goes through, then I can start with some toys.

Assuming I can make it, I'll bring my recently acquired tools (1/2" breaker bar, torque wrench, and extenders) as well as my go pro.

I'd be able to make it for dinner, but I am working that day so lunch would be a no go for me.
