Guyz, I have the manual fr-s and I just realized if you move the shifter from "1" to "2" and so on you can go faster then 40!

This also solves the overheating problem I have been having

The only relevant info on this thread is that the paddles stop working when the tranny overheats (to protect the tranny).

The paddles are actually volume control for your music.

The paddles make me feel like I'm driving a Ferrari when I shift gears

All I know about paddle shifters:

-There's a up and down arrow on the odometer screen-
-Press up to make the RPM drop and down to make the RPM rise-

My questions
how resilient are these paddle shifters i.e. Are they a liability of damaging the car?
Sometimes when I shift, I feel the car lag a little bit, am I shifting at the precise time?

Any other information that I should know about the paddle shifters?
hi squad

My car is defective. I don't have these "paddle shifters." Is there a TSB to correct this issue?

Yes, the Transmission Supplemental Buy was an original option but I'm sure you could retrofit it.
