That 3.5 belongs in a mid engined sports car. It is awesome. My parents have one in their Lincoln SUV. Just awesome.

I swear that is where Ford got the idea.

8-10 years ago my buddy had a kit car called a Nobel. It had a Ford 3.0 V6 with twin turbos, mid engine. It was insane.

Back then the Ford 3.0 V6 was pretty mild mannered 225 or so HP. The Nobel kit made it a monster (at the time) with over 400.

Now it is bumped to 3.5 and is a fairly reliable, production package, available in such mundane things as a cargo van.

I'm not really a Ford fan, but it is potent.

I did my first autocross event with my twin and I was grinning ear to ear. Even if my times were not that great, doing baby controllable slides, feeling the backend get loose was such a blast. Don't get me wrong track days are fun but I almost like Autocross a bit better
