The engine has already been turbo charged by aftermarket. And turbo AND supercharged on the same car. If they have room to do that, I'm sure Subaru and Toyota can figure it out too. They only have a few billion dollars more resources than those aftermarket companies.

Also, that article didn't cite a single reference. Google didn't turn up Toshio Masuda's words verbatim, either.

"Boxer engine, REAR-WHEEL DRIVE, Zenith is what BRZ stands for. (as stated before) If it became awd, it would not be a brz, it would be a BAZ. And plus, RWD is fruqqin AWESOME!!! thats my opinion though, others may like the awd

With enough money and determination...

Living in one of the snowiest cities in the North East, I would absolutely love if Subaru offered this car with AWD. Extra power is just a bonus.

Oh LORD! SYRACUSE!! I am from upstate new york, born and raised there for 8 years, then vegas for six, back to upstate for two, and now in ct for 6 months. I can fully understand why you would want an AWD BRZ, I am from westerlo, which is about 35 minutes SSE from Albany

RWD is the funnest. However, if you live somewhere that gets alot of snow and you're not experienced with RWD it can be attractive.

Also, an awd turbo version will capture a larger segment of people that refuse to buy a non-turbo, non-awd subaru.
Yeah, if only Subaru made a car that would work for those Turbo AWD people. Too bad they don't...

Hopefully the OP feels pretty stupid now. "For sure! Fuck yeah!" Why? Because some random internet blogger highly twisted the words of a Subaru employee.
