Is e85 legal in CSP? And is it really possible to compete with the miatas in CSP?

You can't get a 86 light enough to run with a CSP Miata at full nationals prep.

What are guys running for tire pressures on the RE71s? I have been running 30/28 for the most part, they don't quite roll over to the arrows. Pretty standard setup with MCS coilovers (7K F/R) and WL 20mm front bar, not on the stiffest setting. I was dealing with a bit of corner exit oversteer and instability in slaloms today's event, although at the T&T yesterday it was pretty good. Or my driving was just bad.

Maybe. It really depends on where the car is. Where is it pushing in the corner or over steering in the corner.

I like to get the car doing what I want first with out the bars. And if I need that little bit of help.. then do the bars.

After driving my car hard over the weekend I can see why people want the front bar so badly. The car feels like it's "rolling over" on the front end. Kinda strange. I'm going to do a few events on it and see how it feels on less hilly surfaces but I'm expecting to have a 20mm Whiteline bar before the season is out.

Test fit my new wheels (17x8 RS-Watanabe F8s) and tires (ZII Star Spes) this weekend, and noticed the same thing. I'm thinking a 20mm Whiteline bar isn't too far off in my future either.

I have the Perrin 22mm in the front and it's night and day in the slaloms.

I have the whitelines 22. We just had a test and tune and I was able to take a little over a second off my time ,on a 30second course, just by moving to the hard setting. Turn in was way faster so the first few runs after I made the change was like driving a different car.

Do you guys have steady state understeer with those front bars? Adding understeer on track is something I very much do NOT want to do.

No undesteer. I almost have it completley dialed out with negative camber and 22mm bar. It seems backwards to put a big bar on the front to gain traction up front but the way a macpherson suspension works your making it harder to gain positive camber under compression which results in more contact patch on the ground for longer in a turn

I understand that concept. I'm just too used to FWD where a big front bar kills you, you can't put power down in corners because it lifts the inside front. The hot setup there is stiffer springs and less bar. I've gotta wrap my head around the front wheels just sorta hanging out
