That took them 2 days total, and their base tune only needed minor changes (though I have very light mods, and a stock header).

But for an extra $125 you will get an excellent custom tune, unless, of course, you require a CARB tune...
You made it sound like CARB tune is inferior. I don't see anything wrong with CARB tune if everything else is stock. I am happy with it; very refined, efficient, and consistent. Engine is running smoother than stock.

With engine modifications Delicious tune is good too as I see the feedbacks from others.

That wasn't my intention as, like I said, that was my plan. But if you are going to make further mods you can't use the CARB tune. But an extra $125 gives you the option, as opposed to paying more later if you can no longer use the CARB tune.

I agree, if there are future mods planned, starting with Delicious tune seems like a good idea.

would it be okay to flash the delicious flash-and-go tune for my JRSC and drive, even though I have UEL headers? Would it be safe to drive?

I am able to contact my tuner for a revision but I need to datalog, but I do drive the FRS pretty frequently so I am curious as to how safe it is to drive on the base JRSC tune without revision to account for headers and exhaust already on the car.

You should really ask this question to Delicious. My understanding is that you buy flash&go and then buy customized_service_work.

Delicious will sell a base tune, get you to datalog, then make any adjustments needed. You then flash revised tune then datalog again. They then check to make sure it is a safe tune for you. Works well!

Hi. Would anyone be able to set me know the size of the intercooler (length, height and thickness) of just the core as we as total packaging? I have checked quite a few pages here as well as Jackson Racing's website but haven't found anything. Thanks in advance!!

Just out of curiosity, is it worth it to purchase an ace header to replace my existing HKS?

Am I the only one who continually has issues with my oil spacer plate slowly leaking from underneath? Everytime I change the oil I have the issue. The only way to resolve it is to tighten everything as hard as possible. That doesn't seem correct. I'm out of ideas.

I am looking at the Jackson supercharger for my 86. Is it a good idea to add the Jackson oil cooler? And a oil/pressure temp gauge? And if so witch one and where do you mount them so they don't looked tacked on. The car will mostly be driven on the street with the occasional track day.

An oil cooler kit is almost a must when you do any kind of forced induction on these cars, If you are tracking the car it is required. The Jackson racing oil cooler works great and fits well with the kit so its a no brainier.

As for the gauges a lot of people coming in have been getting ortiz custom pods as of lately which is an entire new bezel piece that integrates the gauges into the bezel and looks fairly decent, we have also done a few gauge installs in the glove compartment which are nicely tucked away until you need your readouts.
