Intake

I am looking into getting an intake kit on my car...

Couple of the ones i looked at are the Airaid, Injen, and Greddy

Any suggestions in any of these ? or maybe other brands??

All 3 of these were around the same price

Thanks

Search around in this forum to find review threads on the intakes. Here is one I found:

Save your money and just buy a drop in filter

Our WORKS filter outperforms all intakes mentioned above

The FA20CLUB.com custom intake is the one I would/will get if I don't decide to wait for a supercharger.

Definitely no on the airraid, afe/Greddy looks decent but I have the fa20 on the way myself, I was against the intakes out and used the Perrin filter and tube which is a good option too but the fa20 shows some nice gains and is priced right.

Drop in's are great and give you a great bang for your buck.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13245

Your AFE/Greddy/Injen systems have all shown gains on the dyno. With an ECU flash, these intakes are seeing even greater gains. So, it will kind of depend on the route you want to take your car down the road whether you want a drop in or intake.

AEM also has an intake out on the market that one of our customers is really enjoying. We are still waiting on our local dyno to be put back together after a recent shop relocation, so we have been unable to test it, but we have high hopes.
